In the era of technological explosion, AI (Artificial Intelligence) is no longer an unfamiliar concept. From simple tools to highly advanced systems, AI is redefining how we learn, work, and create. But as AI increasingly dominates various fields—including design and the arts—many questions arise: Where do we, as creative individuals, stand in the future of technology? And what do we need to prepare for a stable and sustainable career path in the age of AI?
The talk titled “AI & Imagination – Powering the Next Wave of Creative Work” will open up an inspiring and open discussion for the new generation of creatives. It aims to help young people prepare for their future careers in a rapidly evolving technological era. The event will feature two special guests from the fields of art and creative education: Daniel Caulfield-Sriklad and Trung Bao.
Mr. Daniel Caulfield-Sriklad
Daniel Caulfield-Sriklad is a designer and interdisciplinary artist currently teaching Fashion Communication & Marketing at LCDF-Hanoi. His artworks have been exhibited at various international exhibitions. In education, Daniel adopts an innovative approach that encourages students to think creatively and develop unique perspectives—key elements to ensure humans are not overshadowed by AI.
Nguyen Bao Trung (Trung Bao)
Nguyen Bao Trung (Trung Bao) is one of Vietnam’s most prominent multidisciplinary artists and was named in Forbes Vietnam's 30 Under 30. As an international beatbox champion, he is also the co-founder of Fustic.Studio and the art project Voice Gems, where human voices are transformed into unique digital artworks. Trung Bao has appeared at major global events such as the World Economic Forum in Davos, ITU (United Nations – Switzerland), TIME100 AI (Dubai), and recently made a remarkable impression at the 2024 Hanoi Festival of Creative Design.
In his talk, Trung Bao will share his artistic journey from Hanoi’s hip-hop community to the global stage, and his ongoing experimentation with voice. The session will offer a fresh perspective on voice—not just as a tool for communication, but as a personal and global artistic medium, where tradition meets technology to celebrate identity and amplify creative voices.
