New Clothes, New School Year

“New clothes, New School Year ” is a community activity by LCDF students, parents, teachers and staff to support disadvantaged children by giving them opportunity to go to school and have better life. The programme began in 2013 in partnership with the Fashion & Life Programme, Vietnam Television VTV3 and Dmax Team – Otofun Forum.

Our objectives of this programme are to promote the development of Vietnamese traditional cultural heritage, social and charitable activities among its teachers and students. “New clothes, new school year” has become a remarkable event, generating our charitable funds to finance our community projects to design and produce clothes, which improve the lives of disadvantaged children and encourage them to attend school.

Within 5 years, the programme raised fund to design and produce uniforms for 1300 disadvantaged children in 12 primary schools thanks to the generous support of our sponsors.

In 2018, the progamme increasingly have been supported by our partner fashion entrepreneurships, students and parents and those who passionate in design and communities in creativity. In the sixth year of the programme this year, we plan to support more than 400 children in primary schools.

We were honored to have you to participate in this programme and look forward to working with you again in the future. You can donate by paying an amount to get tickets for our Exhibition and Graduation Show or giving away unused textbooks, stationery, clothes or other items... to support disadvantaged children. Please join us to help children!
